Here’s how to volunteer to ‘Keep Middletown Beautiful’ on April 22

Residents are invited to “Keep Middletown Beautiful” and join the annual Earth Day/Arbor Day clean-up event on April 22.

Volunteers are needed to collect trash, paint, plant and repair public spaces in the region. Those pre-registered by April 1 will get a T-shirt as well as tools and trash bags.

“This is our annual effort to make a big difference that can be seen,” said Jeff Michel, executive director of Keep Middletown Beautiful. “If we clean our public spaces really well, it may encourage our neighbors to help keep it clean by disposing of their trash in the proper method.”
