Johnson mentioned the members of her family, her favorite movies — including “Moana,” for which Johnson provided a character’s voice, and “Fighting with My Family,” in which Johnson also played a role — and her favorite activities.

Johnson also noted a toy drive Short has spearheaded during her treatment.

“You’re having this toy drive for other children ... just speaks volumes of the awesome little girl — BIG girl —that you are,” he said. “Thank you for being a fan, I’m sending you so much love Naomi, and have a great toy drive.”
