A fire that spread from a wood-burning stove damaged a Lewisburg home Thursday afternoon.
Neighbors reported flames coming from the house in the 4000 block of U.S. 40 near Shields Road around 12:20 p.m., according to firefighters.
No one was home when the fire broke out and no injuries were reported, investigators said.
U.S. 40 remains blocked in both directions while crews remain on scene. It was not immediately known when the road is expected to reopen.
