Downtown Hamilton transforms for Robert Redford, Casey Affleck movie

Downtown Hamilton is starting to transform for this week’s filming of a movie that includes an Academy Award-winning cast.

“The Old Man and the Gun,” a movie being produced by and starring Robert Redford will film scenes in Hamilton on Thursday and Friday.

MOVIE CLOSES HIGH STREET: Here’s what you need to know to get around town this week

Today, a portion of S. 3rd Street was blocked as crews began to create sets for the film.

In addition to Redford, the movie will also star Sissy Spacek, Danny Glover and Casey Affleck.
