There was no shooting this morning in Hamilton, according to police Officer Kristy Collins.
An initial report indicated a person was shot in the ankle in the 100 block of North Second Street around 4:20 a.m.

Collins said the emergency squad did respond to the location, but the injury was not from a gunshot and no shots were fired.

Crews are responding to North Second Street on a person reportedly shot Friday morning.
Initial reports indicate a person was shot in the ankle in the 100 block around 4:20 a.m.
