Coronavirus: 67,995 total cases, 3,069 deaths reported in Ohio

The Ohio Department of Health is reporting 67,995 total cases of coronavirus and 3,069 deaths attributed to the virus in Ohio.

There have been 64,013 confirmed cases and 2,813 confirmed deaths.

There were 1,142 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.

Hospitalizations increased by 134 for a total of 9,049. In the last 21 days, the average hospitalizations reported each day was 80.

ICU admissions are at 2,223, an increase of 22 from Monday.

Public Health - Dayton & Montgomery County is offering three free pop-up testing sites in Montgomery County starting Thursday.

Testing will be available Thursday at the Rose Music Center, Friday at Trotwood Madison High School and Monday at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Testing will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on all three days.

A pop-up testing site will also be in Springfield tomorrow at Perrin Woods Elementary School from noon to 6 p.m.

Starting next Monday, nursing homes in Ohio can start limited outdoor visits for the first time in over two months as part of phased reopenings across the state.
