A Butler County fast-food restaurant has closed today after firefighters found grease collected above a fryer.
The smell of smoke was reported around 11 a.m. today inside the Burger King, 7387 N. Liberty Drive. When Liberty Twp. firefighters arrived there was a “fair amount” of smoke inside the restaurant, said Battalion Chief Chad Canupp.
He said the restaurant will be closed until its maintenance staff can clean up the system.
There were no injuries to employees, customers or firefighters, Canupp said.
