As a result, residents had received free service between Aug. 30 and Oct. 23.
The machines had last been emptied of change Aug. 30 and the reprogramming was discovered Oct. 23 when the machines were checked again and found to have no change in them.
It was estimated revenue from the machines during that time period would have been approximately $1,500 and it is unknown if whoever reset the machines actually took money from them.
There are no suspects.
