A single-vehicle crash in Hamilton this morning has injured one person.
The incident happened at 11:27 a.m., when a Chevy Malibu slid off the road and slammed into a tree on South Washington Boulevard near Hyde Park Drive.
It appears the driver’s side door received the brunt of the damage in the crash, officials said. Hamilton Fire Department extricated the male driver from the vehicle and took him to West Chester Hospital, according to Officer Kristy Collins, a Hamilton Police Department spokesperson.
The Hamilton Fire Department received mutual aid from Ross Twp. Fire Department and Fairfield Fire Department, according to dispatchers.
Emergency personnel and law enforcement are on the scene and the road remains closed.
