McDonald's debuts first new breakfast sandwich since 2013

McDonald’s is launching its first new breakfast sandwich since 2013, but it’s only available for a limited time.

The Triple Breakfast Stacks is inspired by McDonald’s “Secret Menu” a combination of unofficial orders made by special request using McDonald’s traditional ingredients, according to a company statement.

The new sandwich can be served on a toasted McMuffin, biscuit or McGriddle cakes and includes two slices of cheese between two sausage patties and topped with thick-cut Applewood smoked bacon and an egg.

McDonald’s has been a leader in fast-food breakfasts since the Egg McMuffin launched in 1972, a path that led to all-day breakfast in 2015.

There are around 30 McDonald’s restaurants in the Dayton area.
