Judge Ronald Ruppert reset the pre-trial hearing and did not make any changes to Duhamel’s bond. He is being held in the Warren County Jail under a $50,000 bond on each of the three charges stemming from the July 4-5 incidents. The charges include aggravated menacing, inducing panic and violating a protection order.

Police began looking for Duhamel in July after he failed to appear for a deposition in a case involving charges of domestic violence and violating a protection order.
On July 4, Warren County Sheriff’s deputies and the county Tactical Response Team went to a Mentz Road residence in Franklin Twp., and Duhamel barricaded himself inside. When officers entered the house, Duhamel was not there and had fled during nearby fireworks of the Franklin Fourth of July celebration.

Warren County authorities issued a notice that Duhamel might be in Middletown and asked for public assistance to help locate him, saying they believed he was armed.
Middletown police spotted Duhamel at a residence in the 600 block of Baltimore Street on July 5, and the police response led to a two-hour standoff.
After the Special Response Team forced entry, Duhamel was located inside the residence. He was safely brought out and taken to the Middletown City Jail.
During a search of the residence, several guns and ammunition were located, police said.

During this incident, a large crowd gathered and some become unruly, eventually crossing the police crime scene tape and threatening officers. Three were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and misconduct at an emergency.
Duhamel appeared July 6 in Middletown Municipal Court for arraignment and opted to plead guilty to the charges of inducing panic, resisting arrest and obstruction of official business, all misdemeanors charges, according to court records.

Duhamel was sentenced to 180 days in jail for inducing panic and 90 days each for the resisting arrest and obstruction of official business charges.
A few hours after he was sentenced in Middletown, he was transferred to the Warren County Jail to face charges in Franklin.
