The closure is required so crews can complete electrical work across North Second Street, between Magnolia and Dayton streets, according to the city.
The electrical work is part of The Marcum project of apartments and retail.
Magnolia Street is two blocks north of High Street, just east of the Great Miami River, while Dayton Street is three blocks north of High.
