Hamilton’s Director of Electric takes job in Indiana

Anthony “Tony” Pochard retired from the City of Hamilton on Jan. 17 as the Director of Electric, a position he held since 2011, according to a press release from the city.

Pochard will continue his career in the public utility sector, joining Anderson, Ind., Board of Public Works as Electric Utility Director, according to Hamilton officials.

Pochard began his tenure with the city in 1989, as an Electrician I. In the past 25 years, he has held the positions of Assistant Electric Power Systems Superintendent and Supervising Engineer, Manager of Transmission and Distribution and Assistant Director of Electric, before becoming the Director of Electric.

A life-long resident of Hamilton, Pochard is a 1976 graduate of Badin High School.
