Food pantry closed after car crashes into building

The Fairfield Food Pantry will be closed “for some time,” according to officials after a car crashed into its building.

The May 3 accident involved a client of the pantry at 1085 Magie Ave. who lost control of her vehicle and drove it into the building, according to officials with the service.

The goal is to run food services out of the pantry annex as soon as possible, officials said.
