The Butler County OVI Task Force will be conducting an OVI checkpoint tonight in Middletown.

The checkpoint will be conducted from 6:30 to 11 p.m. on northbound Ohio 122, University Avenue at First Avenue.

State law requires law enforcement to announce sobriety checkpoint times and locations ahead of time.

The checkpoints, along with saturation patrols, are law enforcement’s continuing effort to reduce OVI related crashes resulting in injuries and fatalities.
