The franchise owner of Miami Valley Comfort Keepers in July bought out another Comfort Keepers franchise with a West Chester Twp. office.

Now, the provider of in-home services for seniors and other adults plans to ramp up growth in both Cincinnati- and Dayton-area territories. The franchise, owned by Kristina Butler, will hire 50 people a month regionwide through the end of the year, company representatives say.

Most job openings are for caregivers and include part-time positions.

At this pace, spokeswomen Lisa Hube-Grimes and Cherrylyn Bacani said the Miami Valley and Greater Cincinnati Comfort Keepers franchises owned by Butler will add about 250 new jobs before the end of 2014.

“We’re looking for very specific types of people that we can place into a client’s home,” they said.

The Comfort Keepers franchise hires about 10 percent of applicants, Hube-Grimes added.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, proof of car insurance, passing background check and drug screen, Internet access with a valid email address, willingness to work every other weekend, and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

To apply, go online to www.ComfortKeepersMiamiValley.com or www.GreaterCincinnatiComfortKeepers.com.

Comfort Keepers provides non-medical, personal care and companionship services.
