No results changed after the official run of the 2020 primary election, but the Hamilton streets levy results narrowed.
The 10-year, 3.9-mill levy was passing by 101 votes after Election Day votes were counted, but with late-arriving and provisional ballots included, the results narrowed by five votes to 96, according to official results certified by the Butler County Board of Elections on Tuesday.

There were 185 votes of the hundreds of uncounted late-arriving and provisional ballots were added to the Hamilton streets levy results. The levy will generate $3.1 million per year and cost the owner of a $100,000 home $136.50 per year.
"We're very excited and relieved," said Jack Whalen, chair of the all-volunteer citizen committee that campaigned for the levy, "because nothing is official until it's official."
Whalen surmised they had to win at least 25 percent of the uncounted ballots in order for the measure to pass. The levy received more than half.
