The trial of a Hamilton man facing felony charges for alleged sexual activity with a student while he was a Fairfield High School teacher will begin this morning with testimony from prosecution witnesses.

Tyler Conrad, 27, of Victor Court in Hamilton, was indicted in November on two counts of sexual battery, a third-degree felony; sexual imposition, a third-degree misdemeanor; and contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a minor, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Conrad waived his right to a jury trial, which means Butler County Common Pleas Judge Keith Spaeth will hear the evidence and decide if Conrad is guilty or not guilty.
