Hunter Jobbins took to Twitter Sunday to share a note left by the apologetic robber, who said the sight of a Kit Kat in Jobbins' cup holder proved irresistible. Jobbins is a sophomore in athletic training at Kansas State University, the Kansas State Collegian reported.

"I love Kit Kats," the note said. "I checked your door and it was unlocked. (I) did not take anything other than the Kit Kat. I am sorry and hungry."

"When I came across (the note) at first I was kind of upset and wondering what happened to my Kit Kat, then I realized how funny it was that it happened so my frustration turned into laughter," Jobbins told

Jobbins' post caught the attention of hundreds of thousands of people online, with many retweeting or liking the tweet. The post caught the attention of the folks who run Kit Kat's Twitter account, and they offered to replace the stolen bar.

"Who steals someone's Kit Kat?!" the company tweeted.
