Middletown unit makes arrests while serving warrants

Middletown’s Special Response Team (SRT) executed two search warrants Tuesday morning that resulted in arrests, according to police.

The warrants were issued at residences on 10th Avenue and Grand Avenue, according to Major Andy Warrick. He said the warrants were related to narcotics and were part of a federal investigation.

Warrick said he couldn’t release more information because the connection to a federal case.

He said there were no injuries to police or residents.
