Middletown police respond to two ‘shots fired’ calls

Middletown police are investigating two separate calls for shots fired early this morning.

The first call occurred at 2:37 a.m. in the 600 block of Verity Boulevard. The second call came at 3:08 a.m. at a Speedway on Roosevelt Boulevard, according to emergency dispatchers, who said they could not immediately provide the address of that Speedway.

It is unclear if the two incidents are related. No further information is being released by police today as they investigate both incidents, dispatchers said.
