The crash happened about 2:30 p.m. when a vehicle hit a pole and three people ran from the scene. Multiple officers tracked and chased the suspects along the railroad tracks and to the area of Shartle Street, according to Sgt. Malcolm Tipton.
One person is in custody and the search is continuing for the other two. Police said they do not know why the occupants ran from the vehicle.
