Beer-can throwing fight leads to stabbing at Hamilton motel

A beer can fight led to a double stabbing late Sunday night outside the Hamilton Inn on Dixie Highway, according to Hamilton police.

According to witnesses, an argument between a group of people who had been drinking turned violent when they started tossing full cans of beer at each other about 11:50 p.m. and at least one person pulled out a knife and began swinging.

Luis Cerdera-Jacinco, 24, of Pan Am Way, Hamilton, suffered stab wounds to the legs and torso, according to the Hamilton Police report.

A second stabbing victim who is not named on the police report, suffered severe stab wounds to the neck.

Both were transported by medical helicopter for treatment at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

One victim underwent surgery and the other was conscious and alert.

A third man, Jose Palacios-Martinez, 25, suffered a minor injury to his left eye and nose.

The suspect was was gone when police arrived and has not yet been identified by investigators. No arrests have been made.
