Crews respond to Ross Twp. gas leak caused by construction truck hitting gas main

A construction truck hit a gas main in Ross Twp. this morning, and Duke Energy is on the way to plug the “hissing” pipe.

The truck hit the pipe in the 1300 block of Quercus Drive at around 9:15 a.m., according to Butler County dispatchers.

The pipe broke and was “hissing” the dispatcher reported.

The fire department is on the scene and utility crews are en-route.
