Any leftover storms will move out of the area as temperatures drop during the overnight hours, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell.
Temperatures will turn cooler with lows dropping into the upper 50s.
Tuesday: A mix of sun and clouds is expected with a chance for a few quick showers. Highs will be noticeably cooler around 70 degrees.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny skies are in the forecast with pleasant temperatures in the lower to middle 70s.
Thursday: The day will start with lots of sunshine, however clouds will increase toward late afternoon. A few showers will be possible by late evening. Highs will be in the upper 70s.
Friday: A few showers or thunderstorms will be possible early with clearing skies and warmer, muggier conditions arriving in the afternoon. Highs will climb into the middle 80s.
Saturday: Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast with hot and muggy conditions. There will be a slight chance for a pop-up, late day storm. Highs will climb to near 90 degrees.
