According to City Manager Sonny Lewis, Warren County will use Neighborhood Stabilization Program funds for the demolition project, which includes the bidding, asbestos removal and demolition.
Depending on the amount of asbestos to be removed, Lewis said the cost for the demolition project is estimated at $25,000, with the city paying 50 percent of the costs.
Lewis said did not have a timeframe for the demolition project or when it will start.
