Two people were transported to a local hospital following a single-car crash on West Chester Road in West Chester Twp. early this morning.

Two men were transported to West Chester Hospital. The driver has health issues — not related to the crash — which made his condition more serious, Wilson said. The passenger had non-life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating to determine if alcohol might have played a role in the accident.

West Chester Road was shut down after the crash but has re-opened.
