4 Butler County road closings that will impact your drive

Road closings continue in Butler County as spring road construction ramps up.

Here are some new road closures that may affect your drive:

West Alexandria Road in Madison Twp. will close between Dickey Road and Hursh Road beginning Monday, April 2.

The road, which is closed for a culvert replacement,  is tentatively scheduled to reopen the week of April 23.

In Hamilton, River Road between Fairview Avenue and St. Clair Avenue will be closed beginning Monday, April 2, until May 11.

This closure is necessary for roadway improvements, as part of the Concrete Repair and Resurfacing Project, according to the city.

Also in Hamilton, Bilstein Boulevard between Standen Drive and Port Union Road will be closed to traffic on Monday, April 2, and will remain closed through Wednesday, April 4, at 8 p.m.

This closure is needed to repair the bridge deck on Bilstein Boulevard, according to the city.

In Liberty Twp., the final leg of road improvements on Yankee Road is necessitating another road closure. Yankee Road is closed between Dutchland Parkway and Maple Creek Drive as the final construction phase of the Yankee Road widening is under way.

The project should be completed by the end of May, according to the Butler County Engineer’s Office.
