2 teens charged in New Paris homicide

Arrests have been made in the homicide of Travis Bourne.

Preble County Sheriff Mike Simpson announced the arrests of Tiyoune L. Hoskins and Ty Milik Dwayne Williams.

Both men are being held in Madison County, Indiana Jail.

Hoskins, 19, was formally charged in Eaton Municipal Court with one count of aggravated murder and one count murder.

Williams, 18, was formally charged in Preble County Juvenile Court with one count of aggravated murder and one count of murder. Williams was 17 at the time the murder occurred.

One of the vehicles Preble County sheriff's deputies have been looking for in the homicide of New Paris resident Travis Bourne has been found in Indiana and is on its way back to Ohio.

TheHeraldBulletin.com is reporting that a Madison County sheriff's deputy found a gray 1997 Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the 2000 block of East County Road 1300 North, near Anderson, Ind.

Madison County Sheriff Scott Mellinger told the Herald Bulletin that Ohio authorities were en route to recover the vehicle Monday afternoon.

Bourne, 34, was found dead in his home in New Paris on March 28.

The sheriff's office has asked for the public's help in finding two vehicles that belonged to Bourne.

The other vehicle authorities are searching for is a silver 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier bearing Ohio license plate GVF4919.

Tuesday afternoon, Preble County sheriff's dispatch said the sheriff was not available for comment.

Anderson, Ind., is about 63.4 miles north and west of New Paris.
