Haddix was traveling south on I-75 in a 2007 Dodge Ram with a small child in the truck around 5:15 p.m., when he crossed through the grass median into the northbound lanes, according to a release from the highway patrol’s Lebanon Post.
The pickup truck hit a 2004 Honda Civic, driven by Jordan Davis, 30, of St. Marys, and a semi truck driven by James Leclair, 69, of London, Ontario.
During the crash, Haddix was thrown from the truck.

The child was taken to Dayton Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and Leclair was taken to Franklin Kettering Hospital with minor injuries.
Davis and a passenger in the Civic were taken to Atrium Medical Center in Middletown with serious injuries.
The crash closed the highway for several hours while crews investigated and cleaned up the crash, as traffic was redirected off the highway onto state Route 123.
OSHP said that alcohol/drug impairment and failure to wear a seat belt were both being investigated as factors in the crash.
