Total Quality’s Tampa operation started in 2010 with five founding members and has since grown to 150 employees. In addition to the growing Tampa office, the Ohio-based logistics company operates three additional offices in Florida — Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, and Orlando — employing more than 300 people in total.
Job growth from the new carrier services division, in addition to growth in the company’s sales operations, is expected to create up to nearly 200 new jobs in Tampa over the next two years.
By the end of 2017, Total Quality anticipates its statewide Florida employment base will grow to nearly 700.
“We’re committed to growing our presence in Florida,” Total Quality President Kerry Byrne said in a written statement.
