Recall: El Monterey breakfast wraps may contain small rocks

The recalled products have “EST. 17523A” on the back, and were shipped to retailers nationwide.

The problem was discovered June 14 when Ruiz Foods reported three consumer complaints about foreign materials in the wraps, with one report of a potential injury associated with eating them.

Consumers who have purchased these wraps are urged not to consume them. Instead, FSIS asks consumers to throw them away or return them.

The source of the rocks is under investigation.
