Dickerson replaces Gamble as chamber board chairman

The Chamber of Commerce serving Middletown, Monroe, and Trenton recently announced a change in board leadership. John Dickerson, CEO of Dickerson Distributing Co. in Monroe, was named chairman of the board for the remainder of 2014.

Dennis Gamble resigned his position due to the amount of time he’s investing into managing the recent growth of his business, PCC Internet Group, an information technology company, said Rick Pearce, president of the chamber.

The chamber also announced the addition Phil Fultz, general manager, Middletown Works for AK Steel to the board of directors. Fultz has held various positions within the company since 1993 and was named Middletown Works manager in 2013. He is a member of the Association for Iron and Steel Technology and has served as a member of the board of directors of the Ashland Alliance and the United Way of Northeast Kentucky.

Pearce praised Gamble for his 11 years of “great service to the chamber as a volunteer and board member.”

Pearce said Dickerson brings “a great deal of experience and leadership” to the board.

The chamber has 443 member companies and organizations that conduct business in 22 surrounding communities.
