Thanksgiving weather: Partly sunny, mild with rain late tonight

It will be partly sunny and mild to begin today, though clouds will increase in the afternoon and evening ahead of rain starting late tonight, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Highs will be around 60 degrees.

A few light showers are possible late in the day. Overnight, there will be a chance of rain starting around 8 p.m., but showers will be likely by midnight.

Chances will fall again in the early morning hours before falling away after sunrise. Lows will be around 45 degrees.

Friday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of rain before 8 a.m. and a high around 52 degrees. It will be mostly cloudy again overnight as temperatures dip to around 32 degrees.

During the day on Saturday, it will be mostly cloudy with a high around 53 degrees.

Saturday night will be rainy, with showers likely shortly after sundown and continuing throughout the night. Wind will pick up in the early morning hours for blustery conditions by dawn on Sunday.

Lows will be around 45 degrees.
