It will be sunny with a high around 80 degrees today, followed by a mostly clear night with a low around 62 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
Sunday will be sunny and hot, with highs around 92 degrees.
An Air Quality Alert has been issued for Sunday for Clark, Darke, Greene, Miami, Montgomery and Preble counties by the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission and the Regional Air Pollution Control Agency.
During the alert, the agencies said they expect levels of air pollution deemed “unhealthy for sensitive groups,” including children, older adults and people with respiratory and cardiac diseases.
Residents can help reduce air pollution by reducing the use of or avoiding using gas-powered vehicles and appliances, and by refueling vehicles after 8 p.m.
Sunday night will be mostly clear with a low around 70 degrees.
Clouds will increase on the ever sunny Monday, for mostly cloudy skies in the evening. Otherwise, it will be hot, with highs around 93 degrees and heat index values of around 100 degrees.
On Monday night it will be mostly cloudy with a low around 69 degrees.
The NWS said that continuing heat and humidity will bring afternoon heat index values in the mid-90s to around 100 degrees through Thursday.
