Chance of showers, storms tonight; rain likely rest of week

There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms through midnight.

Skies will be cloudy with an overnight low around 67 degrees with patchy fog expected again Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Wet weather is possible through the rest of the week, according to the NWS.

There is a slight chance of showers for Wednesday, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy and slightly warmer with a high near 84 degrees.

There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms Wednesday night and into the overnight hours, which will be mostly cloudy with a low temperature around 70 degrees.

Showers and thunderstorms are possible throughout the day Thursday and into the evening hours, including a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a high near 84 degrees. A chance of showers and storms continues Thursday night, which will be mostly cloudy with an overnight low around 69 degrees.

A chance of showers continues Friday, with thunderstorms also possible after 3 p.m. It will be mostly sunny and warmer with a high near 86 degrees. There is a chance of showers and storms before 9 p.m., after which skies will clear for an overnight low around 69 degrees.
