Isolated to scattered showers from Saturday into today is expected with drier and slightly cooler conditions returning Monday, bringing abundant sunshine and seasonably mild temperatures for much of this week, the National Weather Service in Wilmington said.

This afternoon is expected to have a chance of rain showers before 5 p.m., otherwise, it’ll be partly sunny. Highs will be in mid-70s. Overnight, skies will be partly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10 p.m. The low will be near 54 degrees.
Mostly sunny skies with a high of 75 degrees will occur Monday.
Monday night will be mostly clear with a low around 51 degrees.
Tuesday brings sunny conditions and warm temperatures with highs in the upper 70s. Tuesday night will be mostly clear but cool with a low around 55 degrees.
Sunny skies strike on Wednesday with highs in the lower 80s, followed by a partly cloudy overnight with a low around 59 degrees.
Warm temperatures return Friday into the weekend.
