Mostly sunny, warm today with Air Quality Alerts in effect

Today will be mostly sunny and warm, with Air Quality Alerts across the Miami Valley as smoke from Canadian wildfires lingers in the area. Highs will be around 75 degrees.

Air Quality Alerts have been issued for Clark, Darke, Greene, Miami, Montgomery and Preble Counties through midnight Thursday and for Butler and Warren counties through Friday, issued by the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission, Regional Air Pollution Control Agency and Southwest Ohio Air Quality Agency.

During the advisories, the air quality is considered “unhealthy for sensitive groups,” including children, older adults and people with cardiac or respiratory disease.

Tonight, it will be partly cloudy with a low around 53 degrees.

On Friday, it will be sunny and warmer, with a high around 78 degrees. It will be mostly clear on Friday night with lows around 54 degrees.

Clouds will gradually increase starting Saturday afternoon as temperatures rise to around 86 degrees.

Saturday night will be partly cloudy, with a chance of showers starting after midnight that will continue through the morning. Lows will be around 60 degrees.
