Skies will be mostly cloudy with overnight lows falling to the mid-50s, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
Expect a rainy Saturday with a chance of a thunderstorm after noon. Highs will be near 72 degrees with wind gusts as high as 26 mph. New rainfall amounts between one-tenth and one-quarter inch are possible, except for higher amounts during thunderstorms.
Saturday night showers are possible, including a chance for a thunderstorm before 1 a.m., then a slight change of showers. Overnight lows will dip to around 49 degrees. New rain amounts between one-tenth and one-quarter inch are possible.
On Sunday, aside from a chance of showers it will be partly sunny and cooler, with a high around 62 degrees. Rainfall is expected to be less than one-tenth inch.
Sunday night will be partly cloudy with a low near 47 degrees.
