Today will be mostly sunny and hot, with highs around 85 degrees and a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon into evening, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Sunday will be mostly sunny, with highs around 86 degrees, followed by a mostly clear night with lows around 62 degrees.

To start the work week, Monday will be sunny with highs around 82 degrees during the day, and mostly clear with lows around 60 degrees overnight.
