DETAILED FORECAST

Overnight: Skies will stay clear through the overnight hours with temperatures dropping to around 50 degrees by morning, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorlogist Eric Elwell said.

Wednesday: A pleasant, quiet day is in the forecast with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the lower 70s. A few clouds and a breeze will develop during the afternoon.

Thursday: The day will start with lots of sunshine although clouds will increase through the day. There will be a slight chance for a shower late in the day. A better chance for showers and perhaps a few thunderstorms will develop Thursday night. Highs on Thursday will climb back into the upper 70s.

Friday: Skies will be partly sunny with occasional showers and storms. A few strong storms will be possible. The heat and humidity will also be on the rise with highs pushing into the middle 80s.

Saturday: Summer-like heat will arrive as temperatures climb to near 90 degrees by late afternoon. The humidity will make it feel more like the upper 90s. There will be a slight chance for a pop-up storm. Any storm that does develop could be strong.

Sunday: Skies will be partly sunny and it will be slightly cooler and less humid. Highs will drop back into the lower 80s.
