Breezy, chilly today; Chance of rain returns this weekend

Today will be partly sunny, breezy and chilly, with a high near 55 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

After dark, both the clouds and winds will decrease, for a partly cloudy night with a low dipping down to around 37 degrees.

Clouds will slowly increase on Friday and temperatures will be slightly warmer, with a high near 60 degrees.

Friday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 40 degrees.

On Saturday, there will be a slight chance of rain in the afternoon, but otherwise it will be mostly cloudy with a high near 60 degrees.

The chance of rain will end by nightfall, though, for a mostly cloudy night and a low around 40 degrees.
