Two relief pitchers who struggled with the Cincinnati Reds and excelled in Triple-A will represent the Louisville Bats in the Triple-A All-Star Game.

Tanner Rainey and Kevin Quackenbush were named to the International League All-Star team Wednesday. The International League plays the Pacific Coast League at 6:30 p.m. July 11 at Huntington Park in Columbus.

Rainey had a 13.50 ERA in six appearances with the Reds. He’s 2-1 with a 1.69 ERA in 23 games for the Bats.

Quackenbush had an 11.00 ERA in 10 appearances for the Reds. With the Bats, he has a 0.42 ERA in 21 games.

All-star festivities in Columbus start July 9 with a home-run derby and skills competition.
