HS Roundup 11/26: Bellbrook girls basketball wins in OT

Bellbrook defeated Waynesville 58-53 in overtime in girls basketball action on Tuesday.

Bailey Zerby led the way for Bellbrook, finishing with 15 points.

Kendall Knisley added 11 and Kelley Griffen 10, including a pair of foul shots in OT.

Leah Butterbaugh had 20 points for Waynesville and Carli Brown added 11.

The win moved Bellbrook to 3-0.

Girls Basketball

Covington 56, Tri-County North 22: Claudia Harrington had 16 points to pace Covington, which opened the game on a 31-11 swing.

Fort Loramie 84, Fairlawn 17: Marissa Meiring recorded 15 points with five steals and Dana Rose and Kenzie Hoelscher added 12 points apiece to pace Fort Loramie.

Mechanicsburg 66, Springfield Shawnee 29: Grace Forrest chipped in 20 points and Kasey Schipfer and Morgan Hamby added 12 apiece for ‘Burg.

Miamisburg 49, Valley View 43: Addison Frymoyer led three players in double-digit scoring for Miamisburg with 15 points. Anna Long added 12 and Dara Russo 11.

Piqua 56, Graham 40: Tylah Yeomans scored 21 points, Aubree Schrubb 13 and Karley Johns 11 to lead Piqua.

Preble Shawnee 48, Brookville 33: Campbell Jewell totaled 12 points for Preble Shawnee, which pulled away with an 18-6 run in the second half.

Russia 51, Jackson Center 19: Olivia Moorman chipped in 14 points and Ashley Scott added 11 for Russia.

St. Marys 50, Kalida 31: Kendall Dieringer led the way with 11 points and Carly Caywood added 10 for St. Marys.

Boys Bowling

Miamisburg 2616, Middletown Christian 1992: Andrew Wheelers bowled a 405 series, A.J. Hild added a 401 and Caleb Witt 400 for Miamisburg.

West Liberty-Salem 2239, Southeastern 2066: Nate Aldo tallied a 202 and Andrew McCall added a 177 to pace WLS. Travis Adkins led Southeastern with a 232 game.

Girls Bowling

Ben Logan 2207, Northwestern 2148: Kaylee Nicholas rolled a 385 series and Erica Warne added a 179 game for Ben Logan.
