Fairfield senior Emma Otten capped her high school swimming career with a fourth-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke in Saturday’s Division I state finals.

Otten, a University of South Carolina recruit, clocked a time of 56.09 seconds at C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton.

Lakota East freshman Jacob McDonald finished sixth in the 500 freestyle in 4:34.81.
