College Football Playoff rankings: Ohio State 10th again

Ohio State is ranked 10th in the College Football Playoff rankings for another week.

The Buckeyes, who beat Nebraska 36-31 last week, were also No. 10 when the first rankings were released last week.

They are the lowest-rated one-loss team in a major conference, but the Buckeyes will have multiple chances to impress the committee in the coming weeks.

After a visit to Maryland on Nov. 17, Ohio State will wrap up the regular season at home against

Michigan.

The Wolverines are ranked No. 4 this week.

Defending national champion Alabama is No. 1 followed by No. 2 Clemson and No. 3 Notre Dame. Those three are all undefeated while Michigan has one loss.

LSU fell only to No. 7 despite losing 29-0 at home to Alabama last week.

That starts this Saturday with a trip to No. 18 Michigan StateFilling out the top 10 are No. 6 Oklahoma, No. 8 Washington State and No. 9 West Virginia.

The Sooners and Mountaineers still have to play each other in the regular season and potentially in the Big 12 championship game.
