West Chester woman facing sex charges involving juvenile enters plea in court

A West Chester Twp. woman who is facing multiple charges for allegedly having sex with a juvenile pleaded not guilty today in Butler County Common Pleas Court.

FIRST REPORT: West Chester woman indicted on sex charges 

Beth Ann Manning, 39, of the 7900 block of Victory Court, was indicted Wednesday by a Butler County grand jury on five counts of sexual battery, a third-degree felony. She turned herself into the court for arraignment by Judge Greg Howard.

The indictment alleges Manning had sexual conduct with the juvenile between May 1 and May 16.

Butler County Assistant Prosecutor Kelly Heile said the victim is a juvenile, but declined to release any more information, including the victim’s age or sex.

Manning was taken into custody for processing at the Butler County Jail, but was granted an own recognizance bond by Howard. She is scheduled to be back in court Aug. 15 for a pre-trial hearing.
