West Chester store offers reward in stolen sports memorabilia

Thieves struck at the Sports Gallery on Cincinnati-Dayton Road overnight Sunday when items from RedsFest were stolen from a trailer, according to West Chester Police.

A trailer parked behind the store containing a large amount of signed baseballs, bats, jerseys, helmets, mini helmets, bobble heads, statues and supplies was broken into between 5 p.m. Sunday and about 10 a.m. this morning, according to John Dewitt, who works at the store.

Store owners are offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the culprits. Anyone with information is asked to call 513-759-4256 or Officer Jeff Gieske of the West Chester Police at 513-759-7279.
