West Chester Twp. police are investigating a reported rape that allegedly occurred near The Show on 42 bar.

Police reports indicated a woman reported she was sexually assaulted in the area of 9933 Cincinnati Columbus Road at 1:15 a.m. on Aug. 11.

Township spokesman Andrew Reeder said police hope to have the case closed soon and that no further details were available.
