West Chester hotel thief a good tipper

Someone used a fictitious credit card number to rent a room and charge meals at a Hilton Garden Inn.

More than $2,500 was charged to a fake credit card sometime before 4 p.m. Dec. 3 at the hotel, according to police reports.

West Chester Twp. spokeswoman Barb Wilson said the thief was a good tipper.

“With the food purchase, the suspect left tips well in excess of the food amount purchased,” Wilson said. “This case is still under investigation.”
